Carp is signed through next year, who else feels this'll be the final contract that Carp will be playing as a Cardinal? I hope I'm wrong and he has at least 3 more years left in him, but that's a lot to ask at this point.

Lip service from the Mozer poser. Reminded of the Holy Grail scene where the guys yelling "bring out yer dead!" Lol

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the ''best case'' scenario would have Chris Carpenter (shoulder) on track for a possible return in June.
Cards GM John Mozeliak suggested in spring training that Carpenter's returning in May might be possible, but that no longer appears feasible. The veteran right-hander is scheduled to undergo a series of strength tests this week to determine if he is ready to graduate to the next stage of his rehab. Which would involve throwing.
