Maybe if you didn't make your passwords require insanely stupid credentials I wouldn't have to enter twenty different passwords trying to figure out which one works. Jesus.

I would be completely screwed if I ever lost my cell phone because I have about 30 passwords stored in there.

I used to work occasionally at a company my sister ran. They required password changes every two weeks (with numbers, letters, at least one capital letter and a symbol). I only worked there about once a month, if that. So basically, I could never "clock in" on their computers because I had no idea what my password was, ever.
It took about 20 times of making her have to enter my time manually before she changed that requirement.

Try working for the government. Every system has a different 15 character password with caps, symbols, etc and it can't be reused. I think right now I maintain nearly 20 accounts. Fortunately we're switching most systems to CAC card and pin so no passwords needed. I would say in a given day, about an hour of time is wasted on tedious [expletive] like resetting passwords, waiting for systems based on aging government servers to boot up, etc. That's your tax dollars at work.

Sadly, that's pretty low on the list of egregious misuse of government funds.cards2468 wrote:Try working for the government.
