Pujols..ha

My favorite quote:
"I'm kind of disappointed how people work in the business," Pujols says. "Sometimes when they don't accomplish what they want, they throw the player under the bus or their agent under the bus.
Kinda like throwing a fan base and organization under the bus as a player, Albert? Hope you hit about .220 this year and the Angels don't even sniff the playoffs and the Cards celebrate #12
Honestly, I was fine with him leaving for the amt. of $ they gave him and had no hard feelings, but the way he's still sprouting off, really starting to dislike the guy

Every time I start coming around on Albert he says something ridiculous about the whole situation. I really want to be okay with him - he gave us 11 great years and should get some of my respect as a result. I just can't like him when he's being such a dick, though.

There's a reason some Alberts end up being Einsteins and some Pujols.
But, I understand Einstein was a 5-tooler who could have been a solid SS or CF back in the day.

In reading that article, it really looks like that quote referenced the Miami Marlins, not the Cards. He didn't seem to have too many bad things to say about the Cardinals organization in that article, other than the fan reaction.JS04 wrote:http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball ... 53977370/1

That's what I thought. Seems like a pretty straight forward article.Fat Strat wrote:In reading that article, it really looks like that quote referenced the Miami Marlins, not the Cards. I don't know if I know someone who hates Albert for not staying. I think a lot of people were saddened to see him go, but understand why he went and why the Cardinals didn't make a large contract offer. To many it made perfect business sense for both sides to do what they chose to do. It sucks, but it made sense.
