This weekend is going to be awesome. I am going to be pretty much worthless at work the rest of the day once I finish up something my boss just asked for.

I just scored tickets to the Blues playoff game tonight on StubHub for $111.76 (2 seats in section 120 row W) after fees and everything. Prices have been dropping steadily since there are so many left that people are trying to sell. I paid $12 less than friends who bought 2 seats in the section next to us, one row ahead last night.

Tomorrow is the home opener which means meeting in Kilroy's parking lot by 8 or 8:30am to tailgate, drink and grill. We'll just watch the game at Kilroy's if nobody comes through with tickets for us but I might have a line on those too.

Saturday our kickball starts up again so I'll get to spend the day hanging out with friends in the park and playing a little kickball. Later in the evening two friends are celebrating their birthdays so I'll have options in the evening too (and the second Blues game to watch).

Then Sunday my brother is going to run his first marathon. I'll either get to be proud of him (hopefully) or make fun of him if he doesn't finish. Either way I'll make the best of that too. If all goes well I am going to get down there to see him start the race and then hop on the Metrolink and see him a couple more times during the race since it looks like the route goes within a block or two of multiple stations.

Sounds like a great time is in store.

Spend some time bank-hopping and maybe you'll get lucky.

Going to the game today, and then to the horse track for some drunken betting. Tomorrow going to the Cards game, walking north to check out the gun show at the dome, and then heading back down to go to the Blues game. Sunday I'll be going to the Cards game again, and then after the game I'll be going for a nice long bike ride (with my brand new Rol wheels which are super light and a decently aerodynamic) to try and work off all the debauchary pounds I'm going to add this weekend.
