So, to recap:
1. Superstar first baseman left for Anaheim where he will rank right behind Knotts Berry Farm in terms of attractions.
2. Bulldog ace that carried us to a championship is on the DL, ETA unknown.
3. The other bulldog ace is doing a Ryan Franklin impression.
4. Another all-star slugger is on the DL.
5. Another all-star slugger is hitting .200.
6. Our CF is probably going to hit the DL.
7. Our jack-of-all-trades slugging utility man is also on the DL.
8. We are 11-5 and have opened up a four-game lead in the division by Earth Day.

We've won 2 out of 3 games every series since Opening Day; we won that "series" , 1 game to none.JoeMcKim wrote:I can live with winning 2 out of every 3 game series we play. That's a .666 winning percentage which would lead to 108 wins for the season.
So our pace, at 11-5 and .688, is actually more on the order of 111 wins.
We've played 16 games, so we have to multiply by 10.125. It'll be easier after two more games, after which we will have played 18 games, and then we can just multiply by nine with no fractions involved.
We'll meet other "even-number" milestones at:
Game 27 - multiply by 6
Game 54 - multiply by 3
Game 81 - multiply by 2

It would likely also lead to the coming of the anti-christ. So we'll have to win 109 insteadJoeMcKim wrote:I can live with winning 2 out of every 3 game series we play. That's a .666 winning percentage which would lead to 108 wins for the season.

Then we could claim most wins by an NL team since the 1909 Pirates.Cox@2nd wrote:It would likely also lead to the coming of the anti-christ.
