Boogie Nights was a grand slam. Magnolia was an inside the park HR where all 3 OF's fell down, so it was really more like a double with a 2 base error.

I unabashedly adore Magnolia from start to finish, but it's awfully easy to sympathize with others' distaste for it.

I loved "Magnolia". But I would have cut William H. Macy's part.

So... they might re-boot Van Helsing, starring Tom Cruise, written by the dudes who wrote the screenplay for Transformers.

That first one is nearly redeemed by Kate Beckinsale wearing 19th century spandex for most of the movie.

you are most definitely not a dork. avengers might (probably will be) a huge huge movie. lots of guys yer age will be in line early. i think me and my pa will see it this weekend as well...not sure what time though.

i saw on wikipedia that it has its budget at 220 million and that the overseas sales have it already at 178 mil. it'll be interesting to see how batman and spidey do compared to avengers.
