Well he may have sore gums because teeth should be appearing soon, you could try a few drops of anbesol on the gums, or some folks put a few drops of liquor on the gums to numb them at bedtime. Or if you don't want him to grow up alcoholic, try rubbing gently with an ice cube.

I suggest baby orajel and Vodka.

Orajel for little Zeuss and Vodka for big Zeuss.

If you think the first round of teeth are fun, just wait until the 2-year molars. So much fun!

Sorry to hear that it is still hard. I was rooting for little zues to be sleeping more, but if it makes you feel better in a misery loves company sort of way.... you are not alone. My little guy is still not sleeping through a night at just about 1 year.

FWIW Our little guy started sleeping longer at 8 months. He would sleep for 4 hours at a pop without feeding. He also got much easier to put back down to sleep.
The downside to him getting older was that he gets a lot more mobile and he moves a lot in his sleep. He will often move 5 or 6 feet in his sleep.

When I saw the thread title I was scared that my new synth-pop album had leaked early.

I was on a decent schedule for awhile, but my insomnia is back with a vengeance lately. I have to be completely exhausted to fall asleep. I'll work for 12 hours on my feet with very little sleep, go have a few drinks and I still can't sleep.
