Since the Cards won last year, as a sports fan what you would rather see - another Cards championship this year or a Championship for the other team you root for. Since there are two "other" teams that are followed somewhat on this site that are currently in the playoffs, I'll lump them together.

So given the choice:
- 2011/2012 Bulls/Blues
- 2012 Cardinals.

Cardinals. Why am I even here, otherwise?

I'd rather see the blues win their first championship. Baseball has passed hockeyas my favorite sport over the years but the blues are still first in my fandom.

Bully for the Blues if they win. Don't give a hell about any basketball team. Id vote Cardinals for every year for the rest of my life.

For people like Theo. And my son .. he planted this idea when I asked him and he voted Bulls over another Cards win. Now for me the Cards could win 10 in a row and I'd vote for the 11th - like you pop. I'm just curious how many on here would answer otherwise. I'm looking for thrill's vote ... Bulls I'm guessing.

Baseball and the Cardinals will always be first for me.

I voted Cardinals but it would be great if the Blues won the Cup.

It's still the Cardinals, but the Blues aren't that far behind (mostly because, as Theo said, they've never won one). Everyone else is way short.

I voted Cardinals... but in hindsight, I would've voted for #2 had the option been Mizzou winning a national championship in either football or hoops.

That said, when/if Mizzou wins one of each, I'll go back to voting for the Cardinals every time in this poll.

I remember how exciting it was when the Blues first arrived, and as the best of the expansion teams got to go to the Stanley Cup Finals their first 3 seasons. Of course they were completely overmatched and were swept each year, but it was still exciting and I'd love to see them win one of these years.

We moved to Colorado the same year the Avalanche arrived, and their immediate Cup victory got me back into hockey for the first time in years (in my defense, I lived in Houston for 15 years so it was hard to keep up with the NHL back then). I would love to see St. Louis and Blues fans everywhere experience it.

12 in '12 is just too cool to not want to see - plus seeing the Cards' first back-to-back WS titles. And I couldn't ever vote against the Cards.

But I see no reason why both teams can't do it.
