Drug Test

So...I have this friend who was randomly selected for a 24 hr. drug test today at work. Any advice?

when i was 18 i had to do a hair strand drug test to work at a music store.

i got the job, so those things aren't very accurate.

Yeah we get no notice whatsoever, and have to do both urine and breathylzer tests.

It sucks cause you get told at like 7:30am, and once you're notified, you have to be at the lab within a half hour. Except you have to arrive 15 minutes early (you clock in, so they know if you show up "late" or not), so you really only have 15 minutes before you have to be at the lab. The regular work day starts at 7:00am, and I usually take my morning work piss at like 7:15-7:30.

Ultimately what happens is I get handed the notification of my pending drug exam as I'm walking back to my desk from the bathroom. So I have to run to the break room, fill up my big Nalgene water bottle, and start chugging it on my way to the drug testing lab. I usually barely have enough urine to hit the minimum required for a drug test. If I don't have enough, I have to stay there (under observation) until I'm able to fill up the cup more.

I interviewed for a job at a downtown hotel, on a Monday afternoon, and totally unexpectedly got pushed through the whole corporate process in one day. At 4pm we'd finished 2 weeks of interviews and checks, etc. They told me to go piss at a clinic and I'd start training the next day. Only thing was, I had just imbibed large quantities of questionably legal intoxicants the Sunday night before. I stalled until the next Tuesday morning.

Monday night, I went to my friends' headshop and bought their ridiculously overpriced 25 dollar masking drink. It's basically disgusting gatorade that makes your pee fail the test. Drank exactly as much water as the masking crap said to, at what times, and passed the pee test.

Repeated the same deal a year or so later on a corporate-wide test, and passed again. Two times worked for me. That's my recommendation.
