Big picture, this was an outstanding year. Horrible way to end it, but if I was told at the beginning of the year that they would finish the regular season with 109 points and win a playoff series, I would have been happy. Time to get the Tank and Schwartz in the lineup. Hopefully they will bring some offense, because we need it badly.

Blues got nothing to hang their heads about. Nothing at all to be ashamed of. LA is the hotter team. Winning a Stanley Cup *might* be the one thing tougher than winning a World Series.

That being said, I was rooting for the Kings. I am exposed. Sorry, I hate Peoria with an absolute passion, which is where a lot of these Blues players came from. Plus, this is the Kings' national anthem singer:
