A family friend just emailed me to ask about a rumor he'd heard that Pujols refused his WS ring. I heavily doubt that. But has anyone heard that rumor too? Where's it coming from?

He said it less than two weeks after telling USA Today that he didn't care if the Cardinals retired his number, that he didn't care about a Cardinals official delivering his World Series ring, that there are a lot of "haters" among Cardinals fans.
