SB Nation with a piece on how Kip Wells got promoted back to the big leagues despite still being terrible.

Colby Rasmus is on fire! His 14th HR in the 1st at Fenway. In his last 7 games + 1st AB tonight, the #BlueJays CF has 5HR, 13 RBI.

He looks a lot more open, and a bigger leg lift. He must care now, and the mean fans in St. Louis aren't bringing him down any more with their stupid high expectations.

Sources: Nats' Jackson drops Boras

Washington Nationals right-hander Edwin Jackson is changing his representation, leaving Scott Boras for the Legacy Agency, according to major league sources.

Jackson, 28, signed a one-year, $11 million free-agent contract with the Nationals last offseason after turning down multiyear deals from other clubs. The Pirates offered him a three-year contract for around $30 million, sources said.

The Nationals are Jackson’s sixth team in the past five seasons. He almost certainly will seek a long-term deal if he returns to the free-agent market this offseason.

Jackson has been traded six times, including twice in one day last July 27, going from the Diamondbacks to the White Sox, and then from the White Sox to the Blue Jays.
