Anyone watch that "basketball game" last night? Anthony Davis came on in the blowout, knocked down a three, turned to Calipari and yelled at him that he should've let him shoot more at UK. So great.

Here's the aftermath:

By the way, I think Anthony Davis is an upgrade for this team over Blake Griffin. Mr. Crowe's guy was fitting in with the best in the world seamlessly last night.

He's a better player than Blake by miles. If the Clips were smart, they would've trade Griffin and Deandre Jordan to Orlando for Dwight.

I'm as high on Anthony Davis as anybody, but he's not miles better than Blake Griffin right now. Averaging 20 and 10 in the NBA is not easy to do no matter how you go about it. Davis' game is probably a better fit with this team and international rules, but production out of that roster spot isn't going to be a deciding factor in anything anyway.

Yeah. Blake Griffin is overrated, but he's a very good, proven NBA player. His upside is still s big as anyone's, including Davis.

Not discussed here, but the general opinion is that any MJ led team trumps anything else, and the other awesome talent on the dream team would probably overcome the greater athleticism of this year's team.

I know we put the guy on a pedestal, but its deserved. I just don't see any talent ever overcoming Jordan's totally insane, once in a century will to win. If his dream team were down by 10 against a Paul/Bryant/Durant/Love/Howard five in crunch time, I will insist forever that Jordan would win. Its a great argument, too, because no one will ever prove me wrong.

I'm guessing the Dream Team wouldn't have squeaked past Brazil. Yikes.
