Cleveland Going For 21st Straight Win

Post by Farewell Friends »

Since Zeus just learned about this 12 hours ago, figured there could be a thread. Buck Farmer is the only thing that stands between a the Indians and making AL history. Game is at 11:10 a.m.

From Joe Sheehan's newsletter:
Kluber’s effort was remarkable for how ordinary it has become in Cleveland. The shutout was the seventh of the winning streak for the Tribe, who bageled the Royals in a three-game series to kick things off almost three weeks ago. There are 14 teams in baseball that don’t have seven shutouts all year. The rest of the AL Central has 21 shutouts total.

Hopefully the Indians for their own sake will be able to stay this hot for October and they don't shoot their load right now.

They are as October-ready as any team can be. Kluber-Carrasco is the best 1-2 punch in the American League, Bauer and Clevinger are a credible back end, then they've got a ridiculously deep bullpen.

They currently have the #1 seed and I can't see anyway that Houston takes that away from them.

I usually have no idea what's going on either. I feel like there used to be a lot more non-Cardinals threads. That's why I posted about Rhys Hoskins and created a thread about the Indians.
