Pretty good weekend. Chipping looked a bit rusty, but that's to be expected. Even the 75 on Saturday wasn't too bad considering the wind. No one in the field broke 70. Those 2-irons he was hitting yesterday - high draw 270 yards - gives me optimism he's healthy again. You don't hit this shot with a bad back.

I am rooting for Tiger now where I wasn't in his prime. I generally rooted for Phil against Tiger in the past. I guess maybe it is because before Tiger's fall his image was so perfect and cultivated while at least with Phil I knew about his penchant for gambling and that he had other flaws (perception of choking, etc.).

I guess I prefer my athletes to be more human, flaws and all. I can relate to an imperfect person. When a person's public image is so finely crafted and seems so 'perfect' something about it just rubs me wrong because nobody is perfect. It makes me wonder what's being hidden from public view. There's almost always something.
