Dave Matter reminds everyone that before human anal wart Clay Travis got on his high horse about Greg Schiano, he was leading the charge to get Cuonzo Martin fired from Tennessee.
The tolerance wasn’t so mutual in Knoxville. As the Vols started Martin’s third season 6-4, an online petition surfaced among Tennessee fans calling for the school to oust Martin in favor of Bruce Pearl, the man Martin had replaced. Pearl led Tennessee to six NCAA Tournament appearances in six seasons, plus a brief stay at No. 1 in the national polls, but the school fired him in 2011 for NCAA violations. More than 35,000 fans signed the petition. Among those leading the charge was popular writer and radio host Clay Travis, who wrote in February 2014 on his site OutkickTheCoverage.com, “The choice is simple for athletic director Dave Hart, either Tennessee can bring back Cuonzo Martin and stink for another year, thereby necessitating a new hire in 2015, or a new coach has to be hired now.”

It would be nice if Mizzou had more of an identity in crunch time than "Geist dribbles the air out of the ball," but good win nonetheless.

7 SEC games the last two days
Home teams won 6. Only road win was UGA 71-70 in Baton Rouge.

Rough stretch coming up for Mizzou, 4 of 6 on the road and the 2 home games are against teams ahead of them in the standings. If they can get to 6-5 somehow they'd have a decent shot at 11-7 by the end of the year.

I don't watch Mizzou basketball but this reminded me of watching games with friends years ago where I would laugh every time Clarence Gilbert got the ball because you knew that nobody else was going to touch the ball that possession and he would eventually jack up an ill advised three with at least one defender all over him.
