There are plenty of sleazy coaches and/or coaches who are easy to hate for their success, but I vote Huggins. Not only does he have that DUI in his background, but he's responsible for his coaching tree and the proliferation of the murderball style of basketball, which is an aesthetic obscenity.

Boeheim is human garbage, and the fact that everyone on ESPN slobbers all over him makes it even worse.

I was surprised about the absence of Pitino, too--maybe because he's currently unemployed? Then there are folks like Kelvin Sampson and Mike Rice, Jr., too.

Really?

I guess its because I became a fan when he was first coaching in the late 70's and respected him for his unconventional use of the zone and getting a lot out of his players. So that impression has stayed with me all these years. But I can see how he comes off as whiny and full of himself. After that second marriage he seemed to loosen up.

How garbagy is he?

He protected a child molester coach.

That's right. Very disappointing. That's how much I've paid attention the last several years.
