He’s got a perfect game going and he’s in the dugout laughing, talking to people, etc. So chill. So great.

Why can't Wainwright do this? Colon has some years on Wainwright (and pounds)

And the perfect game and no hitter are both gone in the 8th and colon is out of the game.
Not to go all BFIB about it, but it didn't sound like he got an ovation from Houston fans like I think he would have received in STL.

I really hope Bartolo Colon gets the perfect game especially since he missed some of his best years of baseball fighting in World War II. - Joe Posnanski

Colon, who took a perfect game to the eighth inning at Houston on Sunday, needs one win to tie a Major League record for transiency. He has wins with 10 different franchises. Only Mike Morgan, who pitched briefly for the Rangers, Ron Villone and LaTroy Hawkins have at least one win with 11 different clubs.
Colon, who turns 45 on May 24, is still three wins shy of Hall of Famer Juan Marichal (243) for most wins by a native of the Dominican Republic.
