Big ol' thread right here but worth reading. Comes on the heels of the FCC voting to allow ownership groups to own multiple TV stations or TV & newspaper in same market.

I think almost no one realizes how big this is. I mean it's over. Once they control all of the info that's it and now they can.

Christopher Ruddy, who is a close friend of Trump, runs a rival news service called Newsmax and he is against the merger. Maybe Trump has been listening to Ruddy.
