It's raining here today so we are watching some TV over breakfast and it's some tiny house show. It's two 25 year olds who currently live in their parents 4000 Sq ft mcmansion and are spending 60k on a glorified trailer to travel the country and be active. I hate them. They say they are self employed "marketing" people but she's either doing porn or they are living on a trust fund.
Also [expletive] tiny houses.

Maybe they run a cam channel together or something. They're definitely both doing porn.IMADreamer wrote:Fair pointPopeye_Card wrote:Sexist. Maybe he’s the one doing porn?

also, that above sounds like a trust fund situation. Or porn.
agreed on glorified trailer- RV. I saw an episode where they had travel in mind and looked at a few tiny homes and opted for a the RV. This makes more sense...seems safer and more convenient to lug that around over backroads etc - though if it were myself, i'd just get a van rather than a rolling house. With my wife, I think we'd just rent a few months for the nomad life. that said, she is bugging me about an Airstream she has an in on- sounds like it needs a ton of work....which I don't like a lot of work
if I had a tiny house, it would have to be a more permanent - small footprint dwelling - in a great natural setting though.

I'm not against the tiny house trend but shows about them and the people they feature are trying their best to turn me against them. With it just being me, I don't need that much space. I can only be in one room at a time and having a larger space is just more freaking space to clean! I would prefer a large garage over a large house any day.

I spend a ton of time watching woodworking/carpentry and home improvement videos on youtube. For some reason watching people work on projects is very calming. It also end up being expensive to watch professionals with full arsenals of cool gear and equipment.

That show was canceled long ago, Tim Allen does have Last Man Standing which just returned to network tv last week that’s pretty good. Not sure if it’s as good as Home Improvement but never compared the two.
