Is there any franchise changing prospect that is worth tanking for this year? I would give up this year to get a guy like McDavid

The NHL does a draft lottery so tanking doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna get the first pick.Secret Weapon wrote:Is there any franchise changing prospect that is worth tanking for this year? I would give up this year to get a guy like McDavid

Jack Hughes is the consensus top pick next season. He supposedly has talent at the Jack Eichel level.cardinalkarp wrote:The NHL does a draft lottery so tanking doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna get the first pick.Secret Weapon wrote:Is there any franchise changing prospect that is worth tanking for this year? Of course they give up a tying goal late in the game.

Instead of us getting 2 pts and our W.C. foe getting 0, we only get 1 and they get 2. Ouch.
Yet another brutal game.
