Got a ticket to see the Hives and Refused in May. I saw Hives in...2001? When they toured Britain with mostly free shows to promote their "Your New Favourite Band" album. They were amazing, so it'll be cool to see them again. I ought to listen to some of their new stuff, too.

Neil Young is doing a 4-night solo set in Mpls in a couple of weeks, and we just go tickets for the last night. I saw him once over 20 years ago, so this will be fun.

Bucket listed Neil a few months back. Was solo. Now I need to see him with Crazy Horse or Promise of the Real. Freaking awesome.

Anyone heard of Liz Cooper and The Stampede? Playing this Saturday and I probably won’t go but I’d like to.

My wife bought us tickets for my 50th birthday to Fleetwood Mac. They postponed the original show in October, so we saw them Saturday. Row 13. Loved it, I plan on turning 100 now so that I can see them again.

Here's our current confirmed concert schedule for 2019 (so far):

March 4: KISS
May 3: Garth Brooks
May 26: Foreigner
June 29: 3 Doors Down / Collective Soul / Fuel
July 20: Backstreet Boys (not me, just the wife and a friend of hers from college that's coming into town for the show)
August 3: Santana / Doobie Brothers
August 22: Hootie & The Blowfish / Barenaked Ladies

On the bubble:
July 13: Steve Miller Band
September 21: Avett Brothers / Trampled by Turtles

I'm sure we'll add at least another 3-4 shows to the list, but a lot of the outdoor venues (and the State Fair) haven't announced their full lineups for the year yet.

There's some really interesting-sounding bands playing at Foam soon. Plus, it's an easy walk from my house. Plus, they're apparently close to going out of business so could use the support.

Is Lindsey Buckingham still staying away?

stumbled across AXS TV -weird station for programming , but randomly has musician bios and concerts. Saw a 2017 Fleetwood Mac show recently on there.

Usually its old pop classic rock artists, Santana -that dude is an ageless wonder. Blondie, 73 performing still. Farm Aid had some more current good [expletive]..i.e. Margo Price. now it's showing Emmylou Harris homage concert that is pretty great.
