That’s why this only makes sense IMO if they sign Harper or Machado. Realmuto is very very good and certainly makes them better, but you also could have had Grandal who’s about as good for just money.cardsfantx wrote:yeah, esp if they get 1 of the big FA
man, it's tough to give up Sixto Sanchez...that guy is going to be a stud

You can move the order around some but that's a pretty darned good lineup offensively.MrCrowesGarden wrote:That’s why this only makes sense IMO if they sign Harper or Machado. They'll need to add some pitching though.

The Phillies have Nola and Arrieta. That’s a strong top two in the rotation. They have some interesting guys to fill out the rotation. They’re going to be a contender.

The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal says a reunion between the Brewers and Mike Moustakes "seems inevitable."
The Brewers have been shopping for second basemen, but they're open to moving Travis Shaw to second and signing a third baseman in the right scenario. That scenario is probably Moustakas proving willing to take a one-year deal. Unless the Padres step up, it's hard to see Moustakas getting something long-term.
