This one may turn out to be death from natural causes, but even if it isn't....the guy is also a Palestinian activist. So even if it did turn out to be murder, they may have killed him for reasons totally unrelated to Ferguson. In other words: maybe these things are happening to leftist activists in general and it's just coincidence that several of them were all involved in Ferguson.

Speaking of Ferguson:

Another Ferguson Protester Has Died
Quote:
Bassem Masri, a Palestinian-American activist who live-streamed throughout the protests against police brutality and the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, has died. Reports of his death circulated on social media on Tuesday, with other prominent activists and journalists offering condolences and memories about the man, who was known for his strong, outspoken beliefs, and his thoughtful conversation.

Quote:
Masri is one of four Ferguson activists to die in the years since the protests against the killing of Michael Brown. Danye Jones, Deandre Joshua, and Darren Seals have all been found dead since 2014. Jones death was considered by police to be a suicide, but his mother Melissa McKinnies — who is a prominent activist herself — suspected foul play. Joshua and Seals were both found shot to death and set on fire, and neither murder has been solved.

That's [expletive] up and sad.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist and have no knowledge on the deaths surrounding Ferguson activists, but it occurs to me that this is why celebrity activism, while often annoying as hell, is valuable. If Colin Kaepernick shows up dead by gun shot, people are going to ask questions and want answers.

Never thought about that, but it's a great point.

Yeah. Maybe that is why he's so hated. They know that they can't really do anything to him other than ban him from the NFL.

All of the extremist killings in the US in 2018 had links to right-wing extremism, according to new report
Quote:
Every extremist killing in the US in 2018 had a link to a right-wing extremism, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremism.

The report zeroes in on incidents such as the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, in February 2018, and the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in October 2018.

There were at least 50 extremist-related killings in the US in 2018, according to the report, making it the fourth-deadliest year on record for domestic extremist-related killings since 1970.

This NZ shooter... Sick AF. And this article paints a picture of a whole subculture of these bastards. We have known for a long time this threat was serious, and growing bigger, but damn. This is getting really scary.
