That's cool...coming full circle.
That is cool. 10 years ago thrill posted that he moved and likes it. Full circle indeed.
Yeah it was unexpected and I'm embracing it. Never know where life will take you.

I have not made it very far after an early good start.

Born in the Mule Capital. Raised in the Mound City inner burbs with brief preK interlude just outside The Hub. Off to school in Chambana, dropped out, moved to the Athens of the South. Spent a few months at The End of the Road, Alaska and in St Johns on The Rock. River City ever since.

No wonder i like traveling so much.

I like Austin, and the quality of life stuff is pretty great (super low unemployment, economically thriving, lots of natural amenities, lower cost of living than east or west coast, wealthy city equals good schools and low crime, reputation as a "fun" destination due to music, restaurants, bars). I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best place to live in the country, because (traffic, increasing cost of living, brutally hot summers, economic segregation, looming water crisis).

An end comes to all things....as Austin enters its decline; Columbus will rise and I will sit triumphantly upon a gilded throne.
