This is as true today as it was May 11. If the Cardinals don't pick up Keuchel, unless he gets some ludicrous contract, I'll be irate.

If it's a 1 year deal and the Cardinals don't sign him, I'll lose my [expletive].

Yikes

The cardinals are [expletive] stupid. No or girsch or Dewitt or the whole [expletive] lot of them are [expletive] idiots. Unbelievable. What a bunch of [expletive] morons.

Cardinals manager Mike Shildt said Friday that Michael Wacha is "in heavy pencil" to start Monday in Miami.

The only thing that would change it is if Wacha was needed in relief this weekend against the Cubs. If Wacha is needed this weekend, Ryan Helsley and Daniel Ponce de Leon are options for Monday. Wacha really struggled in his first relief appearance after being demoted to the bullpen but threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings Tuesday. He'll be a risky streaming option even versus the Marlins.

I can't take the Cardinals seriously anymore. Not signing Keuchel was just stupid. FFS.

Cardinals are WEAVERIZING flaherty it seems.

I’m mystified by both pitchers.

Weaver with the cards going from looking like a potential ace to stepped on dogsh*t over the course of less than a season. Then gets traded to the dbacks and looks like a legit pitcher again. It should be noted that I’m eating a lot of crow here because I sh*t all over weaver while he was with the cards.

I’m beginning to think it has something to do with their philosophy w/r/t injury prevention.

Are we going down the pitch the contact road again with our pitchers?

Flaherty looks like he’s going down that same path.

It should be noted that Gallegos is having a fine season. 45 K's in 31.2 innings, 0.758 whip. He's been pretty under the radar good. A rare bright spot.

Fangraphs has a good future value on him too.

nearly 40% Ks. Insanely good.

8th best reliever in strikeouts
14th best reliever in whiff%

Would close most games like this:

Gallegos
Hicks
CMart (but I prefer him a starter)
