Re: Former Cardinals Watch
I am sorry. I can't accept having someone who has walked 15 guys in 6 innings (and hit a couple others) on the team. That is bad for little league. I don't care how hard he throws. He can't mentally compete anymore. He's been on this slippery slope since 2014. And I still hold him and Matheny responsible for us missing the playoffs in 2016. Why is there this need to keep giving this guy chances? He's done. It's over.

He’s a Missouri guy who has immense talent and has had success with the Cardinals. If it’s a free shot there’s literally no reason not to try to fix him. The organization was going to give a 40 year old guy who hadn’t pitched in 15 years and had the biggest meltdown in MLB history a chance.

Yeah, it should be obvious that if Rosenthal is willing to go to Memphis or Springfield or wherever, then you sign him. This is brain-dead obvious. Unless he went psycho on the organization, nobody has a farm system so deep that it can turn down a guy with a fastball averaging 98mph.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:If it’s a free shot there’s literally no reason not to try to fix him.
I'm guessing he gets a major league deal from somebody like the Marlins though.

Kinda crazy how you can make a case for Lance Lynn as the best pitcher in the AL so far this year.

You’d have loved the great McClellan or Lynn war of two thousand whatever year that was on GRB.Big Amoco Sign wrote:He was always pretty good and was due for an above average season I felt.33anda3rd wrote:Kinda crazy how you can make a case for Lance Lynn as the best pitcher in the AL so far this year.
