Oh man, I'd completely forgotten we ever had that. I wonder where Brody is these days.

I'm in agreement with this. If I started a new thread today the one it would bump down was from 8/13. One that old has pretty much run it's course. A front page with more current threads would likely bring more posters.

I'll freely admit to harping on Mo too much. I know that gets boring and solves nothing.

Others have already mentioned that more thoughtful, quality baseball content and more activity from engaged posters will help, but I feel like that's pretty hard to accomplish in practice. Short of some former posters returning, I don't really know how we'd "recruit" people to the forum. I joined on a lark, so I imagine (some) others have a similar story.

I'll be here regardless, but the one idea that jumps out as a "no" to me is Hall of Fame Banter. That kind of privileged forum is a little too self-congratulatory for GRB's ethos.

merge all baseball (most notably minors) into 1 section. while i am not around that much to really lend weight to the following statement, i say forget worrying about mega threads too. more work for mod staff isnt a good thing (i speak on that as someone who has extensive mod/admin experience in totally different parts of the web)
