Marquis rings it up
By Derrick Goold
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

Cubs righthander Jason Marquis, who started Friday's game against his former club, will receive his World Series championship ring in a ceremony before today's game. Marquis had said he hoped to be treated to the same public ceremony as Jeff Suppan, who signed with Milwaukee. That is what the Cardinals' management has planned. With Marquis getting his ring, that leaves just one former Cardinal left to get his ring when visiting Busch Stadium — Washington second baseman Ronnie Belliard.

We'll probably get 10 hits off him but only 1 run.

I'll cheer for him.
I like your attitude, man! He deserves it!
