Old Thread Deletion
In order to keep GRB as stable as possible, going forward threads over 2 years old will be automatically deleted on a daily basis. This process excludes the archive forum and will not impact user post count statistics.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
edit - The Interviews forum won't be impacted either.

My concern is that Leroy is going to start bumping a bunch of endangered threads...

Re: Old Thread Deletion
One of the few downsides to having a huge forum base.
There's some classic old threads we won't be able to reference anymore.

It might not be a bad idea to have a thread in the social forum to nominate older archive worthy threads.

Couldn't we just delete the election thread and seque thread? Those surely constitute at least half of the total posts on the board.Michael wrote:Popeye_Card wrote:My concern is that Leroy is going to start bumping a bunch of endangered threads...

Yeah, we need to elect an official GRB Archivist/Historian to go back and pick some more threads to keep in archives.

Oh, thank god. I'd hate to drop back to being an everyday unicorn.Michael wrote:will not impact user post count statistics.
