It will be interesting, I will post lineups for the first 3 games (Thu, Fri and Sat, when the Cards are in town) I am hoping to see Garcia and Perez pitch this weekend
This is gonna be a great team to watch. Rasmus, Garcia, Anderson, Perez, and Jay are all legit ML prospects and Boggs, Haberer, Lambert, Parisi, Pomeranz, Greene, and Haerther are guys who could breakout.
I live close to Springfield so I should get to see some games. This roster is way better than the 1st year when Reid Gorecki was the big star on the team.
exactly, with all the big boys gone from Wichita (KC), Arkansas (LAA), and Tulsa (COL), the Cards should at least take the North in the first half of the Texas League this year, hope Midland plays them in the Championship series
mather really should be listed with the infielders b/c he is going to be the starting 1st baseman. haberer isn't on the DL officially, but kary booher said he was going to be left behind in palm beach with a sore shoulder. also reported on the springfield website is that amaury marti has been loaned to the Minatitlan Petroleros of the Mexican League.
