Why would anyone be concerned about 104 pitches in a start at the end of spring training?

If he throws 104 pitches next week no big deal.

Most pitchers with their last start of ST go between 90-105, if their expected to go 6 or 100+, whichever comes 1st.

Sabathia was expected to go 105 before the 2nd pitch of the game came back & beaned him.
