Rockies purchased the contract of INF Matt Adams.

Adams was signed to a minor league contract in March, and now has a chance to be a helper on the Colorado bench with his power. While there's no redraft value in his bat, he's an intriguing DFS option on nights where he gets a starting gig. Sam Hilliard was sent to the alternate site in a corresponding move.

Police arrested Kitaen after noticing abrasions and scrapes on Finley.

The pitcher was driving Monday night when the couple began arguing, and Kitaen kicked him with her high-heeled shoes, Richards said.

"She kicked him in the thigh, in the leg, in the arm, she grabbed his ear and twisted it," Richards said. "At one point, her high-heel shoe was on top of his foot pressing the accelerator to the ground."

And there they go going down the only road they've ever known.

Adolis Garcia with his 9th homer and 5 RBI day.

Glad we have Williams and Dean and didn’t ship off Thomas.

Pham is really struggling in San Diego. .190/.307/.202 line with no homers.

I'm wondering if he's still dealing with after-effects from that nearly fatal knife attack late last year. He had a long, nasty scar on his lower back from the incident.

:(

When you watch him play you can tell he's beating himself up after every groundout and strikeout. Hope he finds his game again soon. He could make that team even more dangerous if he touches half of what he's capable of.

Would hate Pham to deal with traveling around the minors again. Or even worse, have his career end over this bad start.

Also yeah...knife incident couldn't be helping.

I will never stop being salty about the Pham trade, even though Genesis Cabrera is now a good reliever and even if Justian Williams ever became at all valuable.
