There will never be anything I see in my baseball life quite like the 11 years Albert gave us in STL.

Does anyone else remember watching big mac climb the all time home run leaderboard out in left at the old busch? I think of that every time i see albert hit a milestone. Good times.

They have one of those for Albert in Anaheim. Saw it last year. At least then it was in the concourse beyond the outfield bleachers by a hot dog and beer cart.

If he plays out his contract, he stands half a chance of getting to third all time in total bases, too (he's 54 behind Bonds, is currently in 5th).

His next RBI will be # 2100.....wow......think about that one.
A player averaging 100 RBI per season would have to play 21 of them to reach that mark. (my great math skills)

Aaron & Ruth are the only guys to achieve that milestone, & Albert is about to do it.

The most amazing thing to me, is even as he’s sucked lately, he’s never struck out 100 times in a season. Ever.

That’s crazy for a slugger in this age.

Mike Trout for example, only has 1 season which he HASN’T struck out over 100 times (and was at 90 that 1 year).
