When is he going to get the call up again? Surely soon?
Slugging .711!!!!
Plate discipline improved a little bit too. I mean, can't we DL60 Ozuna to get that shoulder right? Balls were rolling to Pham during his and Ozuna's warm up tosses yesterday. Sad to watch.

What was Grichuk’s slugging in the minors?
Hard to believe a young guy slugging 700 In AAA cant hit major league pitching

Before his callup in 2014, he slugged .493 in Memphis

Why do people compare O'Neill to Grichuk?
Grichuk had a sub 6% walk rate and 30% K rate. O'Neill is 11% BB and 23% K. Come on.
O'Neill profiles similarly to Colby Rasmus but potentially better ISO.

Grichuk with a normal BABIP is about a 2.5 WAR player.
Grichuk with double his walk rate and less K's is an all-star right?

As I said in another thread (
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62410):
O'Neill is somewhere between Rasmus and Khris Davis. When I sorted by walk % between 7% and 9% and K rate between 27% and 29% and ISO around .190 to .260 for 1000 ABs, I get the Davis, Rasmus, Craig Wilson, Jonathan Villar range of players.
Is the new 23% K rate O'Neill the one going forward? Probably not but that's a good range to be in.

I'd love to know how executives value O'Neill. He and Kelly probably produce a wide range of opinions.
