New poster here. Any hope for our pitching this season?

Post by GeeMel »

Spring isn't looking too good but it's somewhat glorified practice games at this point.

Not only does the pitching look concerning so far, we were held to 4 hits today. Not impressive on that side either.

Am I taking crazy pills or is it too early to be concerned?

I'm thinking the midseason return of Mike Lincoln will solidify the bullpen.

I thought he retired around 7 or 8 years ago.

Mikolas, Wacha and Flaherty I know that its a small sample size but they've both been pitching well in their ST games.

Welcome to the forum! It is too early to be concerned, imo. Flaherty was very impressive yesterday. As was Hicks. It's just March 6. Lots of time to go for the club to round into shape.
