That's correct. The new MLB ball was used in MLB and AAA only.lukethedrifter wrote:a.k.a. the new mlb ball was not used in AA. Guess who is BA's AA Player of the Year?
(There are a couple other Cardinals in the list of All-Stars.)

Correct. I should have been more specific. It's a historically homer happy offensive league and Hammons Field is a hilarious bandbox.salukifan2 wrote:The Texas League is not a "juiced league"InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Or his game power in juiced leagues doesn't translate in the bigs after they fix the ball. The wall from center to left is shorter to home plate than some little league fields I've seen.

On a couple of the highlights of Carlson's home runs on here, you can see balls barely clearing that 315 fence.

Moving Up
Dylan Carlson, OF, Cardinals (No. 49 to No. 25): Though he was a first-round pick in 2016, his athleticism was underrated. He batted .292/.372/.542 with 26 homers and 20 steals this year, winning Double-A Texas League MVP honors before logging a 1.098 OPS in three weeks in Triple-A.

I looked through the thread and I don't think they exist. There's a video of one that was close but ruled a double.salukifan2 wrote:Care to post a link to these wall scrapers?Big Amoco Sign wrote:On a couple of the highlights of Carlson's home runs on here, you can see balls barely clearing that 315 fence.

It's 315 down the line in LF and it looks like he only hit three homers RH at home this year. Maybe four. I found video of two of them and a description of a third in a game recap and none are down the line.
So I'd also like a link. Maybe there are some clips of him going oppo LH over that short porch or I missed something.
