This seems like a good place for an Aaron Miles joke. Please lock this thread while I workshop it to completion--I don't want anyone scooping me.
TIA.

They'll start with Carpenter in the role most days.

Carpenter will be given two months to try and find his swing and then the season will be over.

You're right, we're running out of time to extend him. Worried emoji.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑June 23 20, 12:53 pmCarpenter will be given two months to try and find his swing and then the season will be over.

Assuming Carlson is up, Carpenter and O'Neill should get the bulk of PA. If he's not, Carp and Ravelo(ugh)

Wonder what the shortened season means for the prospects of seeing Carlson.
I could see GMs being extra conservative in their callups so that they don't burn service time in a season that's unlikely to be completed.

I voted Leroy, because I expect a DH-by-committee, depending on who needs a day off.
