I'm thinking about opting out.

Wasn't the Mets wanting to get out of paying Cespedes for this season during the offseason anyways? Well I'm sure they're not too overally upset about not having to pay him for the rest of this season. Cespedes just played his last game as a Met since he's a free agent after this season.

Shohei Ohtani has been diagnosed with a Grade 1-2 strain of the flexor pronator mass in his right arm.

In a team press release, the Angels state that the "general timetable for beginning a throwing progression following this injury is 4-6 weeks." The statement also says that Ohtani will remain on the active roster and is "day-to-day" for designated hitter duties. He is traveling with the team to Seattle ahead of Tuesday night's series opener against the Mariners. It's probably a safe bet that Ohtani has already thrown his final pitch in 2020, but hopefully he can remain a highly productive fantasy option in a purely offensive role.

Ohtani probably should stop pitching.
