6-2 in the 6th and they end up with 11 in 8. I admittedly didn’t watch much baseball this year, but I’m assuming our bullpen hasn’t been THAT bad!?

That sucked. Familiar problems of all season showed up in this one.
I didn’t expect Gallegos to bring his gas can with him, but he has always been a guy who can give up bombs if he isn’t getting that breaking ball down.
Shildt loves Cabrera, but he sure does struggle to throw strikes.
I’d love to be mad at someone, but basically every pitcher we threw out there was dog sausage but Gomber or Helsley and for some reason we pulled them both quickly.
You score nine runs in a postseason game, you need to win every single time.
It’ll be interesting to see what Flaherty brings tomorrow because he, too, has been struggling lately.

Now 52-1 in our last 53 games when having a 4-run lead. Let’s start a new one tomorrow.

Putting Kodi Whitley in there in the 8th with his four innings of big league experience was a bit...perplexing.

One of the biggest reasons I'm upset over this loss, is we'll still have to suffer through this broadcast pair in Sutcliff & Tom whathisname

I have hope with Goldschmidt & Yadi in clutch situations, sometimes Wong. Carlson & Edman look like good ones, too. We need more guys like them, either through trades or through our minor leagues .

They get all 3 games in their ballpark AND get to bat last in all three?

Agree. I really like Schildt & he usually pulls the right strings, but tonight wasn’t his night for pitching changes.phins wrote: ↑October 1 20, 9:33 pmThat sucked. Familiar problems of all season showed up in this one.
