Re: MLB Off-season Happenings
Lots of interesting names, for sure. It will be perhaps the strangest offseason we've seen in a long time though, without knowing what the revenue streams might be like next season. Teams are going to be very skittish to commit to anything.
I'd steer clear of Kluber. I think he's done. Going into his age 35 season, shoulder issues - I'd only consider him if he comes really cheap. A shame though, as he was a joy to watch for a few seasons.

In news out of Tampa, both Mike Zunino and Charlie Morton's options were declined.

If he can't retire as a Cardinal at least he'll be able to retire with his hometown team.Magneto2.0 wrote: ↑October 30 20, 4:24 pmAdam Wainwright drawing interest from the Braves according to The Athletic.

Shoot, I'm just happy some team is interested in some player.JoeMcKim wrote: ↑October 30 20, 11:19 pmIf he can't retire as a Cardinal at least he'll be able to retire with his hometown team.Magneto2.0 wrote: ↑October 30 20, 4:24 pmAdam Wainwright drawing interest from the Braves according to The Athletic.
Good to be Gerritt Cole. Imagine if he vested this year instead of last. If the Pirates kept him down a bit longer.

Marcell Ozuna just had a great season but I'm not sure if he's that much closer to getting a long term deal then he was last offseason considering everything that is going on. I could see him getting no more a 3 year deal since last year has to be considered a fluke and his 2018 and 2019 seasons are more of who he really is.BottenFieldofDreams wrote: ↑November 3 20, 10:31 amShoot, I'm just happy some team is interested in some player.JoeMcKim wrote: ↑October 30 20, 11:19 pmIf he can't retire as a Cardinal at least he'll be able to retire with his hometown team.Magneto2.0 wrote: ↑October 30 20, 4:24 pmAdam Wainwright drawing interest from the Braves according to The Athletic.
