GRB Exclusive Baseball Content: Suggestions Wanted
Hey longtime friends!
I am going to be writing a little over here over the next few weeks, since I kinda have a gap between real offseason content at Viva El Birdos and continued doctoral work.
I have some ideas I want to write about — ranging from arb-eligible trade targets for the Cards, to a more detailed scouting report on Liberatore w/ video.
I also thought you might have some ideas for content. Anything you want to know? Anything that has interest to you but you haven’t had time to look up? Let me know! Can’t promise I will get to your ideas or write about them in the way you want, but curious to see what the community is interested in.
Will start writing this weekend, if things work out for it. Get your ideas in now so I can start researching.

That's a cool idea.
Since there might be a lot of free agents/non-tenders on the market, maybe a Top 5 or 10 buy-low, one-year-deal FA targets? It wouldn't necessarily have to be FA targets for the Cardinals; it could be in general.
This might help you write such an article, or it might help in other future writings:

Is there a way to calculate "boring index" and if so, how would you go about doing it? I'd put "GM wearing a bow tie" in the calcs somewhere too.
On a more serious note, what teams in the past however many years are comprable to the Cardinals in that they seemingly can hold their own in mlb but have few superstars producing at superstar level but also have not that many pure scrubs on the team. And, what made those teams better/worse?

JL has done some work on that in the past. I will see if I can find it.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote: ↑October 30 20, 11:25 pmIs there a way to calculate "boring index" and if so, how would you go about doing it? I'd put "GM wearing a bow tie" in the calcs somewhere too.
