Naps would be a terrible name for a team, it only worked at the time since they had a star player with that name. So any time a guy got picked off first base you could just say "he was taking a Nap".

Cleveland Spiders has to be the front runner for the new team name and these logos are actually really cool looking. They definitely could do some sort of Spider-Man night every year where you get your fans to dress up as Spider-Man.

I was curious about Sockalexis on the jersey above. A name I didn't know. This is from the Chief Wahoo entry on Wikipedia:

Native American player, Louis Sockalexis, was an outfielder for the Indian's predecessors the Cleveland Spiders. He is one of the first Native Americans to play Major League Baseball. Questionable origin myth indicates that the names Indians and Chief Wahoo were meant to honor him.[13] The Penobscot, Louis Sockalexis' tribe, petitioned the Cleveland Indians to discontinue the use of Chief Wahoo.[14]
