True enough...though last season's numbers wouldn't show that since there was the universal DH. Most of the numbers come from the previous 2 seasons obviously.redbirdjazzz wrote: ↑March 24 21, 3:00 pmGetting pitched around or intentionally walked ahead of the pitcher.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑March 24 21, 2:56 pmWhat does batting 8th have to do with his OBP? Yeah not buying it. 8 career IBB. He strikes out more at that position than when he's at leadoff. And walks about the same.redbirdjazzz wrote: ↑March 24 21, 3:00 pmGetting pitched around or intentionally walked ahead of the pitcher.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑March 24 21, 2:56 pmWhat does batting 8th have to do with his OBP? I'm just saying "OBP is propped up by batting 8th" is not accurate.
Non-batting 8th career: .324
Batting 8th: .318
Non-batting 8th career: .324
Batting 8th: .318

Bader's IBB numbers are low because he swings even when the opposing manager is signaling the free pass to the home plate umpire.

Seen bader miss lots of balls in center , but he is very good on defense just not elite , but he hustles always , just wish he was an avg hitter and the problem with this team over last few years is inconsistent offense this could be a blessing...
