True enough...though last season's numbers wouldn't show that since there was the universal DH. Most of the numbers come from the previous 2 seasons obviously.

Yeah not buying it. 8 career IBB. He strikes out more at that position than when he's at leadoff. And walks about the same.

I'm just saying "OBP is propped up by batting 8th" is not accurate.

Non-batting 8th career: .324

Batting 8th: .318

Bader's IBB numbers are low because he swings even when the opposing manager is signaling the free pass to the home plate umpire.

Seen bader miss lots of balls in center , but he is very good on defense just not elite , but he hustles always , just wish he was an avg hitter and the problem with this team over last few years is inconsistent offense this could be a blessing...
