Mike Trout is going to pass Albert Pujols career WAR soon. That’s insane to me.
Depends on what WAR you look at. There’s a significant gap between Pujols bWar and fWar

God damnit.
those fools
Angels sent OF Jon Jay outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Jay is now officially off the 40-man roster after logging just 14 plate appearances for the Halos.

God damnit.
The baseball gods were displeased with Pujols' release.

What makes it more real?

The big difference between Pujols bWar and fWar is one believes he was a plus defender the majority of his years in St.Louis, the other believes he was a plus defender just 1 year in his career and trash every other year.

(Whispers loudly) he wasn’t that good at defense.

Also wRC+ (what FG uses) is far superior to OPS+, like very much so. DRS is way too extreme with way larger margin for error. UZR is preferred with its methodology with its buckets.

Trout about to pass him is insane.
