Mike Trout (calf) said that Monday "was my best day yet, tolerance-wise" and that he hopes to begin jogging soon.

Trout thinks he'll have a better idea as to when he might be able to return once he resumes jogging. While it's good to hear that he's progressing, Trout just had the walking boot removed from his foot less than a week ago and he obviously still has a long way to go. He's not expected back before the All-Star break.

Today, Mike Trout accrued 10 years of service time making him eligible for the HOF upon retirement.

I’d like a few more healthy seasons from Mike. Doesn’t seem likely though.

Is this a troll post? Why wouldn't he recover from a calf strain?

Wasn't Donaldson's much worse? And he's been fine... And I mean MUCH MUCH worse than Trout's.

lol at adding the 114 and COVID year doesn't matter. Not sure that qualifies as a trend.

The way to recover from calf strain is not playing and Angels sidelined him during a lost season on purpose. I think that added shelf life. Calf is the only issue and there's a clear path to recovery.

He's likely going to get to 10k PAs and that's really all that matters. Even if he hits typical age cliff injury events.
