There but for the grace of God goes Carpenter.

Carpenter similar to Frazier in some ways but having been a Cardinal Franchise lifer he probably sticks around longer.

Marp has some positional flexibility and the underlying stats that suggest he should be performing better than what he is. If we are still paying him, I don't mind hanging on to him until we have a better backup 2B option than Sosa.

I agree. And there's no one pushing him out of a roster spot right now.
