So does Medford OR. We'd fill up Harry&David Field for you Athletics - all 2,178 seats and the lawn most nights I'd bet!
EDIT: I've been on the phone with the Medford Rogues GM and we'd have to move them - probably to the Cal Ripken fields over on the north side but HEY: Athletics front office this is the can-do spirit you'll find here in the Rogue Valley - we'll do WHATEVER. IT. TAKES.

I'm sure that MLB will prefer that they stay somewhere western so they don't have to re-align the divisions. So Portland, Austin or Vegas would all work as far as that goes.

Re: Oakland A's Exploring Relocation
The problem is the cost of top tier stadiums is so high now they've kind of maxxed out what a specific ownership group can afford on their own now. I know its a football stadium so prices might be higher but the stadium they just built in LA for the Rams and Chargers cost almost 2 billion.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑May 11 21, 1:19 pmI am all for them having a new stadium if they need or want it. Especially now that Vegas has an NFL and NHL team. I don't know if Vegas can support 3 major sports teams. For the NFL you can justify it by take a long weekend vacation to go gambling and see an NFL game. And that would require Vegas to build a 3rd brand new sports stadium/arena in less than 10 years.InvincibleCakeEater wrote: ↑May 11 21, 2:17 pmVegas makes no sense for baseball.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑May 11 21, 2:10 pmPortland would be cool but it likely won't happen. Mariners would block any move to Portland or Vancouver.
Vegas probably.

It’s Opening Day at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Slap on a third deck, bring the A’s back east and finally we’d have somebody other than the Red Sox to root for.

Make the A's the first virtual team and just play the games in A.S.S.
