Matt Carpenter was the best Cardinals pitcher of the night.

At least when Carpenter is the pitcher and strikes out it's not as disappointing.

Eh. I get the sentiment, coming off beating bad/mediocre teams and finally going against a legit WS contender, you want to at least put up a better effort, but convincingly losing a series to a good team, on the road, is going to happen multiple times through the course of the season. I don't think it really means much in the grand scheme of things. Dodgers got swept by the Cubs last week, I don't think that's indicative of how they'll fare in the playoffs.Jayramball04 wrote: ↑May 15 21, 9:23 pmThis a telling series , we have have a few issues , Padres a great team , and we can’t beat there b-team , I am
