Tips for the weekend Series VS Twins

Post by SDFAN »

Hello Cardinal Nation,

My brother and I are heading to St. Louis to take my dad to 3 games for his retirement party. Hoping I can get some tips on how to have a good time. Aside from the baseball games, we like live music and cheap Busch Lights! Any insight on what we should be doing pre and post game??!! Thanks! See you this weekend!

I haven't lived near St. Louis in quite a few years; but Paddy O's used to be the spot. I hope it is still there; though with the pandemic who knows. It was close to the stadium and good atmosphere for game day.

Is there a commemorating plaque near the tree SDFAN can check out?

Yes, Shannon's has been closed for a few years.

Paddy O's is decent, but there are a few bars in Soulard that used to run transportation to and from the game, if you want to head a little further out. Central West End is still really busy, looks like there are a few new businesses setting up there.
